I don’t have formal art training and can’t remember when I started to paint or draw.
I believe colors attract your heart before the actual content of a painting...

I am attracted to colors before anything else in a painting.
Why? Not sure! In my eyes, colors are pure expressions of feelings. Feelings are often inexplicable but strong deep. Deep is where our core of emotions lies.
If I can reach your emotions via a painting it works. Therefore with colors in mind first, abstract or realistic brush strokes invade the paper.

Je suis attirée avant tout par les couleurs d’une peinture .
Pourquoi? Je n’en suis pas sûre! Dans mes yeux,les couleurs sont les expressions pures des sentiments. Les sentiments sont souvent inexplicables pourtant ils sont forts et profonds. En profondeur réside l’essence de nos émotions.
Un demes buts, est d’atteindre vos émotions à travers une peinture… Touché? succès! Ainsi, avec des couleurs en tête d’abord, des coups de pinceau abstraits ou réalistes naissent entre mes doigts.

Freedom and colors in ever changing lights surround me. I escape where today will take me.
I capture with quick, spontaneous stokes of acrylic or watercolors a moment in time.
Emotions filter my vision and rule a game where nothing remain still.
When I feel done, abstract or not if I can touch an unknown heart by my own it is priceless like nature.
Annette is a visual artist based in Sacramento, California. Her work has appeared in galleries and charity auctions. She has also worked on children’s book stories and illustrations, hopefully soon to be published in France.
